Baking in SoBro since before SoBro had a name.
Main Street Bakery has been on College Ave in Indianapolis’s South Broad Ripple neighborhood since 1987 — back when most people still called it just “south of Broad Ripple.” The neighborhood has changed dramatically since then. We haven’t.
We’re on the west side of College Ave, between 54th and 55th Street. Street parking is available directly in front of the bakery and along College Ave in both directions. The closest bus stop is at College Ave & 54th St on IndyGo Route 17.
We open at 6:30am Tuesday through Saturday — early enough for a loaf of sourdough on your way to work. Sunday hours are 7am to 2pm. We’re closed Mondays.
